You say.....

Paaarrtaaaay???  Well, the DT over on Scrapbook Challenges had a wee party last weekend - olympic stylee!!

There was a relay challenge, like a chinese whispers. This challenge was judged by Iris Babao Uy ( I KNOW!!)
We also were timed to see who was the quickest scrapper...that medal went to my lovely scrappy friend Cheryl :)

There was another challenge set by the lovely Jolanda called Gymnastics in which we had to create a romantic layout.....yes...me creating a layout with flowers and lovely dovey AHAHAHAHAHAH......but i went ahead and entered the challenge with this layout:

and well, guess what? Iris (the judge for this challenge too) chose my layout as the WINNER....here is what she said about my layout:

"I love that she was able to build up on the theme of "flight" with her picture, her paper choice and her embellishments. Beautiful design with just the right amount of clustered embellishments to create a beautiful page while still keeping the focus
on her photo." Iris Babao Uy

Now that my lovely scrappy friends is enough to make a gurl grin like a chesire cat.....and yes i was.

There was another challenge called the Pentathlon set by the lovely Carmen in which we had to use 5 techniques. I chose: 

Misting

Painting

Embossing

White Space

Distressing 

and here is my layout made using the May kit from Scrap Rat:

This challenge is being judged my the super talented Piradee.

I had loads of fun making this :) 

The next challenge was set by the lovely Sookie. She challenged us to use acetate or vellum. I never got round to doing this ..... shame, but i want to show you a LO i made 2 years ago using acetate that i just doodled on and cut it out and glued it onto pp........be nice i had only just started scrapping and was experimenting with things including flowers!!
