I am Natalie Jane, call me Nat :) and welcome to my arty farty ramblings!!
And this is me.....in a fireman's helmet.
Well, here are some memorable moments in my wee life:
March 1982 - I entered the world in Falkirk, Scotland.
2 years old - I toddled on into a ballet class, then a tap class, then an acrobatics class and then a modern dance class.
5 years old - I broke my arm falling out of the top bunk bed. Auditioned for a local Children's Theatre Company with my stookie (scots for cast) and was accepted. Performed twice a tear on stage and once a year for television. (Bwahahaha!)
7 Years Old - Started gymnastics. Was Scottish Regional Champion (it sounds fancy but it really wasn't - i won gold in some competition and that was that).
10yrs - aaaah first love. This girl wanted to join Scottish Ballet but got refused eventually as she was too tall. Joined the Festivals Dancing competitions touring around Scotland. Much fun, loads of medals and trophies won.
16yrs - still dancing but just tap now. Left Childrens Theatre and joined Youth Theatre for 1 year. Sat my exams.
18yrs - Joined university to become a Science Teacher. I wasn't sure which science yet so i studied Chemistry and Biology.
22yrs - Graduated a qualified teacher of Chemistry or Biology.
23yrs - After probation year completed, my pregnant self moved to England.
24yrs - My wonderful son was gifted to me :)
28.9yrs - nearly killed in a road traffic accident. Suffered severe arm & head injuries but am on a happy road to recovery :)
29yrs - By day i am a Chemistry Teacher and by eve i am a cook, cleaner, maid & mother. I'd love to say scrapper there too, but let's be honest in the evening you can find me doing the dishes (read: filling the diswasher), sifting through the laundry or catching up with friends at Pilates or sleeping.
And now i am 32....meep! I started scrapbooking in 2009 and have dabbled in the art of mess making and card making. I like it, it keeps me sane and other people seem to like it too.
