Some new things.....

First of all I am a Guest Designer on The Studio Challenge Blog......alongside Celine Navarro!!!!!!
Wow.....amazing to work with some extremely talented ladies!!

There is a challenge on the 1st and the 16th of the month. Here are the rules for the first challenge:

1. Focus your layout on something from your daily routine. This can be a whole day, or just one item you use or someone you see every day. 2. You can journal as much or as little as you like, but you should answer the following questions within it: “who or what?”; “when?”; “where?”; and “why?”. 3. You can use no “bought” patterned paper – you must make your own patterned paper! Paint it, stamp it, or do something else creative!

And here is my take on it. I took inspiration from my desk at work. It's an old desk and is covered in files from the examboard and the new KS3 course. I cut some cardboard to 12x12 and painted it with coffee....yes you heard right. It smells. I made coffee rings with extra strong coffee and then graffitied (sp?) in biro. Made the book out of Kraft to look like a suspect file and the journalling title is done using a Dymo.

Go on....have a play...there's prizes!!!! :D





And next up is my ATC for the DT spot over on the Scrap Around The Clock challenge bloggy.
It is going through some changes and the new forum is here so bear with us, as it is going to be loads of fun...and there will be prizes!!!!

The theme is Love and the criteria were:
No Patterned Paper
Use Masking
Use Brads
Use Flowers
No Bling.

And here is my creation. Again using cardboard (can you see a trend happening!), black paint, lace, heart brads, flowers, candy dot, and a bottle top....i was drinking beer the night i made this and i'm not one for soppiness :D
